Buckets & Bows Maid Service is proud to honor one of our local heroes, wounded war veteran SSgt. Johnnie Yellock II, USAF with a year of professional maid service. Yellock will be honored in a Welcome Home Ceremony in Lantana, Texas on December 12, 2015. Yellock has spent the last three years rehabilitating at BAMC in San Antonio where he has undergone 30 surgeries. Yellock received the Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and Combat Action Medal for his heroic actions. video…..
Lantana (Argyle, Texas) resident Johnnie Yellock: On July 6, 2013 while serving in the U.S. Air Force Combat Control, the vehicle Yellock was riding in drove over an I.E.D. nearly killing the North Texan. “I was catapulted up onto the top of the vehicles,” said Yellock. “I looked down and saw both of my legs had open fractures; I could actually see the bottoms of my feet.” read more……
