volunteer-day

Volunteers from Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound (September 30) and Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church (October 21) put on their Buckets and Bows Volunteer t-shirts, picked up their cleaning buckets and headed off to the homes of local Denton County women battling cancer. SpeedCleaning.com donated eco-friendly cleaning supplies and tools, and Buckets and Bows Maid Service staff members, including owner Debbie Sardone, led teams of four-to-five volunteers, using their expertise to organize and oversee the work. Fifteen local cancer patients and their families received a clean home — free of charge – so they could focus on more important priorities. The inaugural Volunteer Days were a hit with patients and volunteers! Texas Health has already booked a repeat experience for the same week next year and every year, and Trietsch marked this experience as the first of their annual “No Selfie Saturday” program. Thank you Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Flower Mound, Trietsch Memorial United Methodist Church and SpeedCleaning.com. Check out Buckets & Bows’ first Volunteer Days here:
