Grout cleaning | Lewisville TXA toothbrush is really just a tiny scrub brush, right? In addition to cleaning grout (check out our article on cleaning grout here), there’s an ever-growing list of uses for an old toothbrush once it’s no longer in the best shape to clean your teeth. And sometimes it makes sense to buy a new one just to use around the house, as you’ll see in this list:

  1. Clean the track between a window and screen, the bottom of the window that touches the track, and around the frame of the screen. Follow along with a vacuum hose in the other hand while you brush.
  2. Keep a new, clean toothbrush near the kitchen sink to use while washingutensilslike graters and garlic presses that can be hard to clean with a sponge or cloth.
  3. A toothbrush is small enough to get under and around fingernails really well. Sometimes a traditional nail brush can’t get into the crevices when, for example, you’ve been working in the garden and have dirt embedded along the sides of your nails or deep in the corners.
  4. Use a very soft toothbrush dipped in soapy water or rubbing alcohol to clean around the hinges and rubber nose pads on eyeglasses.
  5. Toothbrushes are great for cleaning jewelry. Just be careful if you choose to use toothpaste as well – not all metals and stones should be cleaned with toothpaste.
  6. Store a few old toothbrushes in the garage for all kinds of tasks, such as cleaning tools, parts on a bicycle, detailing a car, etc. –Cleaning with toothbrush| Lewisville TX the list goes on.
  7. Clean dried mud out of shoe treads.
  8. Clean around the hinges of a toilet seatwith a couple squirts of your favorite cleaner such as Red Juice and a toothbrush.
  9. Here’s a fun one: gently brush your pethamster/gerbil/guinea pig. Your pet may find it relaxing!
  10. Use on your hairline or eyebrows to touch up hair color.
  11. Remove the silk from ears of cornwith a new, clean toothbrush.
