Flower Mound resident and Buckets & Bows Maid Service owner Debbie Sardone is honored to announce that she has been named a 2016 L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth Honoree. Debbie is being recognized for the work she has done as founder and president of Cleaning For A Reason, a nonprofit organization that gives free house cleanings in the US and Canada to women undergoing treatment for cancer.

Beginning in 2006, Cleaning For A Reason has recruited over 1,200 maid service companies to donate their services. To date, over 21,000 women have received donated cleanings valued at nearly $6 million through this network of professional cleaning partners.

Ten Women of Worth are selected annually from thousands of nominations received across the US. L’Oréal Paris awards grants and raises awareness for the causes that these inspiring women champion and support. As a selected organization, Cleaning For A Reason has been awarded $10,000. The recognition and grant will be extremely helpful for this wonderful nonprofit. And with your help, the organization can reach even more women battling cancer.

Your vote could lead to an additional $25,000 grant

A public online vote for the National Women of Worth Honoree will give Cleaning For A Reason the opportunity to be awarded these additional funds. One vote per name and email address may be cast each and every day beginning October 10 through October 28.
