Las Vegas, NV – Flower Mound resident and owner of Lewisville’s Buckets & Bows Maid Service, Debbie Sardone and her staff received national recognition for cleaning the homes of women in their community who are battling cancer. Named by ISSA (The Worldwide Industry Cleaning Association) and Cleaning For A Reason as the Top Cleaning Partner 2016, Buckets & Bows Maid Service led the list of over 1200 residential cleaning services in the US and Canada who provide free house cleanings  for women battling cancer. Cleaning For A Reason is the Lewisville-based non-profit organization that recruits maid services to clean homes for women undergoing cancer treatments.

“We are so proud of this award,” a smiling Sardone shared with the crowd in the ballroom at Bally’s Las Vegas Resort and Casino. “It is a privilege to treat these brave women to a clean home and allow them to focus on what’s really important — their health and family during their fight with cancer. To know that our team at Buckets & Bows Maid Service served more women this past year than any other maid service in the country and to be singled out for our service by ISSA and Cleaning For A Reason is icing on the cake.”

Sardone started Cleaning For A Reason back in 2006 when she shared, with other maid service business owners at a conference, what she was doing locally in Southern Denton County, TX. Their interest and enthusiasm to be involved resulted in Sardone applying for 503c3 status for her charity and taking it national. Since 2006, Sardone and the Cleaning For A Reason team have recruited 1200 maid services to serve women cancer patients in their local communities and over 26,000 women have received free house cleanings. Cleaning For A Reason merged with ISSA in June 2017. This is the first time that Lewisville’s Buckets & Bows Maid Service has been honored as the Top Cleaning Partner.
